Meet Rafael López Garnica, a dynamic music enthusiast whose journey in the industry spans from drumming to DJing, electronic music production, curation and independent digital distribution.

Bio

Music has been the driving force behind my professional journey, shaping my path as an artist from an early age. With a degree in Film Studies specializing in sound for media, I've embraced roles as a drummer, DJ, and electronic music producer.

I embarked on my musical voyage in electronic music production with Submarino, my inaugural venture into trip-hop and soft rock. Simultaneously, alongside DJ Trujillo and with the support of Native Instruments, I co-founded RadioLAE. This groundbreaking weekly radio and podcast show pioneered the dissemination of unreleased electronica and sub-genres from global artists. Garnering a substantial subscriber base and festival coverage, it marked a pivotal moment in my career.

These experiences served as catalysts for my musical exploration and evolution. Intrigued by the allure of house and techno, I transitioned to DJing, immersing myself in numerous events, singles, and remixes for esteemed record labels like Moodmusic, Gozadera Records, and Apersonal Music.

In 2013, I unveiled "Fool Again," my debut solo album, in collaboration with an independent label. This endeavor involved overseeing executive production, mastering, artistic and video creative processes, PR management, marketing strategies, promotion, and music publishing.

My tenure in music aggregators saw me assuming roles as a Label Development & Commercial Strategy Manager, providing B2B and B2C support. Additionally, I've managed music catalogues for major and independent record companies, along with distributing video products within the PlayStation Network platform across the EU territory.

The inception of Foxy Bar, an alternative music space, epitomized my commitment to curated musical experiences. Under the banner of "In music we trust," it emerged as a hub for music aficionados in Barcelona.

Beyond these endeavors, I've maintained an active presence in the Barcelona scene under the moniker Kiss Me Again. Characterized by its versatile Balearic House with downtempo influences, this project has showcased my ongoing musical explorations.

Complementing these artistic pursuits, I host "Legacy," a podcast celebrating timeless music classics refined by DJs and selectors through stylized sessions. This endeavor underscores my passion for sharing and preserving musical legacies.
