Rafael López Garnica’s work in music has evolved through multiple phases, moving from performance and production into broader roles within curation, strategy, and cultural development.
Originally from Venezuela and now based in Barcelona, his early work began as a drummer and collaborator in rock and electronic-influenced projects, where he developed a foundation in composition, rhythm, and sound design.
Over time, his focus expanded beyond performance into electronic music production, DJ culture, and later into the structural side of the music industry.
This transition led him to work across digital distribution, release strategy, and international campaign development, building a broader understanding of how music moves from creation to audience.
Alongside industry roles, he developed parallel projects focused on curation, radio, and cultural formats, exploring how music is experienced beyond the studio and the stage.
These include radio platforms, curated listening series, independent release spaces, physical venues, and visual practices shaped around atmosphere and cultural context.
Today, his work operates across creative and strategic dimensions of music, connecting artistic development, curation, and industry execution within broader cultural ecosystems.
